Brooke White = finale!

American Idol saved the best for last for their premiere. The show finished with none other than our favorite Brooke. After we learned that Brooke has NEVER watched an R-rated movie (highly unlikely, but cute just the same), she let out a beautiful rendition of Corinne Bailey Rae's Like a Star. Simon was clearly impressed by her audition which is always a good sign of things to come. Like the other front runner on last night's episode, Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke came across as sincere and very likable. Hopefully we won't have a season full of divas this year :).

I know Brooke White and its a fact, she has never seen a R-rated movie. Just wanted to respond to the part in the post that said, "highly unlikely"!

Good Luck on your journey, Brooke. I'm Tim Morrison's brother-in-law (Janice's brother). I can't get over how much you look like your mom.
We're all cheering you on.

For those interested in seeing a live performance of Brooke, there’s a video of her performing at the Keyclub in Hollywood last summer posted on youtube. She competed in a radio contest in which out of the 5 finalists that played, she was the fans favorite. Even though she didn’t win, she won the hearts of many concert goers. Check it out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nOEiz111c9c

Brooke, I love your voice. It has a special quality, and your personality sparkles! Just to let
the skeptics know, there are a whole huge group of people out there, believe it or not, that elect not to watch R-rated movies.
I am one of them. We believe in personal modesty and doing our best to keep thoughts and actions clean. Personal boundaries create safety and true freedom.
